Fintech Incubator
What is Fintech Incubator?
The Fintech Incubator is a top-level incubation program specifically designed for budding entrepreneurs with ideas within the financial sector. The 6-month long program will take startups through an interactive and human-centered ideation process, prototyping, product design, cross-sectorial mentorship support, and business development processes to help them come up with disruptive and commercially viable products. At the close of the program, there will be a Fintech Speed Investment Fair where startups will pitch their business concept to a pool of investors, Financial Service Providers and other startup enablers. Winners of the pitch competition will be awarded seed capital to proof their business concept in the market.
In particular, we encourage participants to submit ideas that address financial inclusion challenges for marginalized groups, such as rural populations, youth, women and people engaged in agriculture. The submitted ideas should present a sustainable venture with the ability to solve economic and social problems, be scalable and able to generate revenue. Preferably the idea addresses a challenge of people in the Lake Zone.
